back and forth

ups and downs

how much pressure can steel handle

the do’s and the don’ts

the downs and the downs

the rise that never reaches its potential

the self proclaimness

the announcement that this is our golden age

the ruthless roots

the decision to leave everything behind

to drop a past in a sea of garbage

to drop an ego in a canal of shallowness

to look away from friends Strangled in a slum

friends that powder with a bit of C

devalue their blood pressure with an e, a k, a g

getting liberated from  everything

until your smile comes in to the equation

your eyes your smile

did i mention your smile?

falling asleep on my hands

allowing me to be your blanket

allowing me to look you in the eyes this way

allowing me to breathe you

and allowing my self to think of you

the day i decided to leave

you arrived

then i was brought back to my self

the self that does not care

but cares

the self that craves

detachment

but stems out

from deep dark soils

the ruthless self

that wants you

but wants to know

it travels the world

goes homeless

devalues itself

destroys everything it has built

forgets every zero it has started from

and starts from a new null

only because it wants

craves

trips

screams

to know

what is it made of
